Even tough we hadn’t planed anything i couldn’t do nothing during the last two days.
Yesterday afternoon my dad and I went kayaking at the river we had to drag out the Guy one day before. The river was very quiet and we paddled down to the pacific quiet and peacefully. We could see a lot of birds and some more howler monkeys in the trees. At the ocean the waves where very high and the tide was getting bigger. This made it easier to paddle back up the river again. After about one and a half hour on the river we went back to the hotel for a little drink at the pool bar.
Today we where mainly laid at the beach. For one hour I went on a canopy tour. In Costa Rica, everywhere where’s a hotel there’s also a canopy tour, so I had to make one once. Canopy tours are a little like chair lifts except there are no chairs and it’s going down. The people are riding on a steel cable usually from one side of a valley to an other hooked to the cable with some small wheels and a harness.
Our hotel is on a hill so we had to drive only about five minutes up the hill to the first cable. After eight cables and about 40 minutes we where back at the hotel. Since the trip between one side of the valley and the other is fast there is not much to see unless on the very next tree there are some monkeys. Except off this monkeys I didn’t see anything else but it was a lot off fun.
